Abstract:
As a leader of any company – whether you are a Board Director, CEO, business leader, operations leader, or functional leader – that handles or produces hazardous materials, you must continually evaluate and enhance process safety leadership across your organization; even if you believe your organization has already achieved excellence. My keynote topic – Process Safety Leadership Excellence from the Boardroom to the Frontline” – will touch on process safety leadership and specifically Leaders’ role in executing the process safety management system to achieve process safety excellence. The ultimate goal in achieving such excellence is to minimize or eliminate process safety incidents. The keynote will highlight on your role, as a leader, expand on process safety leadership and its attributes, take a deeper dive on a few key attributes and then discuss their needed alignment at all levels of leadership to answer a key question – to manage my process safety risk, what my leaders and I need to do to ensure that proper barriers are installed, these barriers are always working and they are maintained and being verified that they are working, to eliminate any loss of containment.
